Using Lift Papi

Lift Papi is a workout planning app made and operated by APineda Web LLC ("we", "us"). By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

General fitness information, not medical advice

Lift Papi's plans, exercise cues, animations and Coach's answers are general fitness information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they don't replace a doctor, physical therapist or certified trainer. Talk to a doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have an injury, a health condition, or are pregnant.

Your safety is your call

Exercise carries a risk of injury. You choose the exercises, weights and effort you use. Warm up, use good form, and stop right away if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath. Make sure your equipment and space are safe to use.

Coach

Coach's answers are generated automatically by rules in the app and, for open questions, by an AI model (Claude by Anthropic) and can be wrong or incomplete. Coach only picks exercises from Lift Papi's library, and changes to your plan only happen when you approve them. Use your own judgment before following any answer.

Fair use of Coach's AI

AI answers cost us money per question, so they come with limits meant for people, not scripts. The free version includes 10 AI answers a month per install. Lift Papi Pro includes unlimited AI answers for personal use, subject to a fair-use ceiling of 1,000 a month per subscription and a rate limit of 12 requests a minute. Automated, scripted or bulk use of Coach, sharing a purchase with others, or working around these limits is not allowed; we may slow, limit or suspend access to the AI for an account or device that does it, without refund. The built-in answers, your plan, swaps and workout logging keep working regardless. Limits may change; this page states the current ones.

Assumption of risk and limitation of liability

By using Lift Papi you accept the risks of exercise. To the fullest extent the law allows, APineda Web LLC and its owners are not liable for any injury, loss or damage that comes from using the app, its workouts or Coach's suggestions, and the app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Lift Papi Pro

Pro is sold and billed by Apple through your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions; refunds are handled by Apple. Coach Pro's AI answers are unlimited for personal use under the fair-use limits above. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date above. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
